Friday

sunny

It was 21 degrees here today. I couldn't quite believe it. Toronto was a different city. People were everywhere, like bees, both buzzing and slowly weaving, gradually waking up from winter. Salad was, of course, the ideal dinner.

Saturday

A day off

We took a day off together today for the first time in ages. We went to see a movie - FIDO, went for lunch and coffee and then leisurely strolled home and stopped to pose for each other in a nearby park. It was a mild 2 degrees outside and it felt like Spring may finally be around the corner.

Friday

BUS TED!

Today I locked picture on 'Night', one of the films I'm editing at the centre. Locked Picture means that the creative editing is complete and the next stages of sound and visual effects begin. It's been 5 weeks of editing, which really is kind of insane for a short film.

Thus, I was able to finally come home a little earlier. I caught Reva off guard...

Sunday

easter

The Easter Bunny made a visit to our house sometime early this morning. Yum, Lindt chocolate bunny and mini eggs. Sadly, no robin's eggs.

Preparing dinner which consisted of portabello mushrooms with artichokes and roasted red peppers with a tomato, leek and roasted garlic sauce, potato and leek timbale and salad. And lemon merignue pie for dessert. This was a scrape the bottom of the vegetable drawer and cupboard kinda dinner. Toronto is an old fashioned kinda place so when there's a holiday, everything is closed. Even the grocery stores. Aren and I are so busy right now, the grocery shopping didn't get done this week hence the slighty random but delicious meal.

Toronto Gothic.

Being silly, pretending we are on a scary ride.

Looks warm, right? The high today was 0. Apparently, spring does not come to Toronto. The snow disappears under the summer sun.
